Voxtreme is the best choice all-around. You can find cheaper - but you won't find better.
The VALUE is what makes it happen here. And along with the good folks at Voxtreme, you also happen to find a bunch of good folks in their forums. Whether you need support or just casual banter, it's available here. And in good quantity as well as quality.
I'm a small developer/hosting provider and probably won't ever get very big, but I still find the staff quick to answer questions and provide solutions. When you're small, the margin for mistakes can be costly, that's why I rely on Voxtreme. They ARE reliable. I can feel safe in making that statement because they've proven themselves as such over the past 18 months or so.
Every growing organization has painful moments, but the way Voxtreme handles those moments is testimony in itself as to the value they provide. I have no trouble at all in giving them the highest recommendation. (Of course, I'd like to keep them a secret)

I'm afraid that the past 6 months have made me change what recommendation I can give regarding Voxtreme. Since my recommendations reflect on my values, I'm going to have to say that I'm still sticking with them but must recommend that you look closely and be wary. There is a rough road being followed and I can no longer give my highest recommendation.
To continue in a positive vein, Voxtreme (after changing hands earlier this year) is still a company worth looking at.
I can't put my finger on what's gone wrong, there are many facets to the discomfort felt by the customers. Sometimes it even feels like there is a concerted effort by some external elements to discredit and destroy the product & service provided. It's difficult to tell. On a rating of 1 to 10, 10 being best - I would now place a 7 compared to a 10 in the past.
They're definitely above average and easy enough to deal with, but don't expect miracles or the kind of service you'd pay through the nose for. Sometimes customers forget that they're paying for a shared server and expect instant service and attention to their own individual problem.
To their credit, Voxtreme does, when possible, provide hand-holding to those clients that don't know what they're doing. Though, that can be a problem when they come to expect it all the time.
